Four years after leaving office, Donald Trump will return to the White House in January 2025. In his election night speech, he already announced that he would “not rest until we have created a strong, safe and prosperous America”.
It is eagerly awaited how U.S. tax law will change under the new administration.
The USA is one of the most important foreign markets for both German SMEs and German start-ups. The upcoming changes in the USA will have an impact on value chains with connected foreign markets.
In this seminar, together with colleagues from German and US tax law and transfer pricing, we would like to highlight the challenges and opportunities that will arise. We will shed light on Trump's proposals, which already give an idea of what the focus could be in the future. We also highlight the challenges involved in relocating corporate functions due to the changed framework conditions in the USA.
