Rödl und Partner supported CAIRE on its acquisition of MGC Diagnostics

Atlanta, Georgia, January 9, 2023: Rödl & Partner supported CAIRE Inc. on its acquisition of MGC Diagnostics Holdings, Inc., a Minnesota-based developer and manufacturer of non-invasive diagnostic systems for detecting, classifying and managing cardiorespiratory disease. Founded in 1977, the company is the number two player globally in the cardiorespiratory diagnostics sector. The company has more than 200 employees and is present in the U.S., Belgium, Germany, France, and Australia.

The acquisition will allow CAIRE to add to its portfolio of personal portable and stationary oxygen therapy solutions, and larger onsite generation solutions, MGC’s brand of non-invasive cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems, accessories, and consumables for the detection, classification, and management of cardi-orespiratory disease.

It will allow CAIRE to further expand its expertise in serving patients throughout the progression of pulmonary disease.

Rödl & Partner's U.S. Transaction Services team led by Frank Breitenfeldt acted as accounting and tax advisor to CAIRE in collaboration with Brookwood Associates. Rödl & Partner's key service areas included buyside accounting and tax due diligence. The transaction was completed on December 28, 2022.
