Rödl & Partner advised SLS Group on its acquisition of the healthcare specialized courier HealthEx Corp.

The acquisition will expand the combined companies’ services, customer universe and regional footprint. HealthEx Corp.’s distinctive platform with strategically located dispatch centers throughout the U.S., services customers in 30+ states. The combined regionalized and decentralized distribution network provides for accelerated fulfilment speed. The transaction will make Associated Couriers Inc. the U.S. leader in healthcare and specialized life science logistics and will accelerate SLS Group’s global strategy of becoming a top market player in healthcare and specialized life science logistics services.
Rödl & Partner's U.S. Transaction Services team led by Frank Breitenfeldt acted as the exclusive financial and tax advisor to SLS Group. Key service areas included buy-side financial and tax due diligence. The transaction was completed on February 16, 2021.
